Aussie Kidz Charity hosted their inaugural 2018 Hardy Brother’s Aussie Kidz Charity gala at the prominent 5-star W Brisbane on 20 July 2018 to fundraise purchasing of equipment and services for disabled and underprivileged children all over Australia.

The Luxury Network Australia was proud to be a Major Supporter to this absolutely wonderful cause and made a difference to the evening. We were proud to have Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard as Diamond Sponsor, Mitchell Fine Art as Platinum Sponsor and prize sponsors including Yachtshare and Henschke. Other partners attended the event including Adagold, Tracie Eaton and Christie & Co.

With MCs to officiate the evening, Sofie Formica from The Great Day Out Channel Seven and David Lutteral ‘Luttsy’, radio host Nova 106.9 kept the room lively and buzzing throughout the evening! Announced as Aussie Kidz Charity’s Ambassador this year, the gorgeous Charli Robinson was the voice for these kids. Having previously worked with children and the ability to have a significant social impact in the lives of families in need, Charli was the right fit.

Jamie Booth, an Aussie Kidz Charity recipient and Michelle Booth, mum to Jamie was present to present words of thanks to all Aussie Kids Charity Board of Directors. Jamie received a grant to purchase a manual wheel chair and has now taken up the challenge of qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games in swimming. Also, little ‘Cooper’ presented a letter of thanks to Jason Robert, Director of Aussie Kidz Charity who recently received funding for occupational therapy treatment for low muscle tone and fatigue.

Overall, the event was a success with supportive business sponsors and generous contributors, the evening styled with glitz and glamour, paparazzi on the red carpet, live music, not to strictly ballroom dancing, lots of laughter with comedian Scott Williams and a delectable sit down 3-course.
